Electroalfa supports, as sponsor and exhibitor, the organization of the Power Engineering Conference – UPEC which will take place between 2 and 5 September in Cluj Napoca.
UPEC is an international conference at the 49th edition, but it is held in Romania for the first time. The previous editions took place in Germany, Ireland and England.
Organized by the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, Polytechnic University of Bucharest and Polytechnic University of Timisoara, this year’s edition is coordinated by Associate Professor, Eng. Dan Micu, PhD. The conference will have 250 participants from 41 countries, such as South Africa, England, Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, Greece, Japan, Ireland, Iran, Italy, Libya, Portugal, Zimbabwe.
“ UPEC is an ideal forum for the participants to approach topics of interest in the energy sector which may lead to the development of new collaborations, projects and research in this field. The conference has a highly topical subject: energy, namely everything that means renewable energy, distributed energy, smart grid, energy efficiency, everything that means electro-energy” said Associate Professor Eng.
