The company holds a well-consolidated portfolio of products in the fields of metal fabrication and energy solutions. ELECTROALFA, as an energy solutions integrator, has recently focused on identifying opportunities brought about by adapting its business strategy to strengthen its market position and respond to customer needs in an efficient manner. Firstly, investments were made in research and analysis to deeply understand trends in the company's field of activity. This led to the anticipation of changes and the proactive adaptation of its strategy to meet new challenges and opportunities.

ELECTROALFA's strategic approach is a multi-year one, derived from the company's vision for the next 7 years, which includes a series of projects, strategic objectives, and key performance indicators. While the strategic objectives have remained unchanged since they were defined, the list of projects and annual KPIs are evaluated based on context, in adherence to the strategic goals.

“A vital tool that has helped us adapt to periods of fluctuation and challenges in the economic environment is the management system based on the Kaizen philosophy, which we implemented in 2016. This system, focused on continuous improvement and optimization, has played an essential role in ensuring that the organization is capable of adapting to new challenges and opportunities that arise from the complex market dynamics,” declared Mr. Gheorghe Ciubotaru, Founder of the ELECTROALFA group of companies.

Developing an Innovative Organizational Culture

By encouraging the participation of all employees and promoting a spirit of contribution to the improvement process, the Kaizen System has helped develop an innovative and results-oriented organizational culture within the company. This has stimulated initiatives for the development of production units by optimizing procedures, minimizing waste, and streamlining resource utilization.

“We have formed and consolidated our own management system, AMIC (Alfa Management Continuous Improvement), thus marking Electroalfa's entry into a stage of managerial maturity. Together with our team of managers, we have laid the foundations for a sustainable concept where objectives are aligned until 2030, where people can find the right place for themselves because they know what they have to do, are prepared for what they have to do, and are appreciated for what they do,” Mr. Ciubotaru added.

Furthermore, Electroalfa has promoted open communication and interdepartmental collaboration to ensure that all teams are aligned with strategic objectives and can contribute relevant ideas for adapting the strategy to environmental changes. Investments have been made aimed at the continuous development of employee competencies, so that they are prepared to face new demands and challenges. A significant emphasis has been placed on continuous learning and adapting to new technologies and working methods.

Systems for Monitoring Key Indicators

To evaluate the effectiveness of the strategy and make real-time adjustments when necessary, key performance monitoring systems have been implemented. Thus, by adopting the Kaizen management system, ELECTROALFA has gained a significant competitive advantage, succeeding in adapting to a dynamic economic environment and developing its production units in a coherent and sustainable way. Ultimately, the company's approach has been to focus on agility and openness to change, while maintaining its fundamental vision and values.

“This flexibility has allowed us to remain relevant and competitive in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment. We have encouraged innovation across all our departments, promoting creative thinking and the development of new and innovative solutions. This has allowed us to expand our portfolio of products and services, adapting to the constantly changing requirements of our customers. The continuous development of employee competencies is an important topic for us, which is why, starting last year, we laid the foundation for our own internal school, under the name of Alfa Academy, where we qualify or re-qualify—for now with internal recognition—personnel from the production area. However, this project also includes development programs for all categories of employees. We want to be recognized over time as a professional training hub adapted to the real needs of the market, and we intend to build and equip our own space, including laboratories where we will have machinery, equipment, and virtual simulators, so that practical learning activities can be carried out in a real, independent manner, without disrupting production,” affirms the Founder of the ELECTROALFA group of companies.

ELECTROALFA places a constant emphasis on creating new and innovative products.

The company holds a well-consolidated portfolio of products in the fields of metal fabrication and energy solutions, but it constantly focuses on creating new and innovative products. This initiative is fueled by the commitment to stay at the technological forefront and to offer solutions that exceed expectations.

Currently, the company is working on developing the MT SKID (a modular unit that can be easily transported and installed in various locations), a product used in photovoltaic parks that contains electrical distribution equipment such as medium voltage cells, a transformer, low voltage panels, or inverters, all mounted on a metal frame that can operate in unprotected outdoor spaces or in buildings.

ELECTROALFA places a constant emphasis on creating new and innovative products.

The advantages of this product are high reliability and safety, fast fault remediation, solution flexibility—configurable based on the MT network parameters—and a reduced environmental impact.

“We are also working in parallel on other products in response to the constantly changing demands of the market and the diverse needs of our customers. Ultimately, the diversity of our product range and our continuous commitment to innovation reflect our constant desire to be relevant and competitive in a dynamic technological environment,” specifies Mr. Gheorghe Ciubotaru.

ELECTROALFA has also developed competencies in the design of 110/20 kV transformer substations, with the modernization or construction of new substations being another important product for the upcoming period, as they ensure the connection of renewable installations to the grid. Moreover, this year the company also initiated the procedures for building a distribution transformer factory in Botoșani, in the immediate vicinity of the medium voltage factory, and is currently in the phase of drafting the Opportunity Study.

ELECTROALFA's Divisions Have Evolved Significantly

The divisions within the ELECTROALFA group have undergone a series of significant evolutions over the years, reflecting the company's continuous commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation and responding to increasingly complex market demands.

The Electrical Equipment Division has transitioned from producing traditional electrical equipment to developing innovative products, such as containerized electrical substations and modular solutions. Adapting to new safety standards and advanced electrical distribution technologies have been key points in this division's evolution. The Metal Fabrication Division is implementing a project to increase production capacity, through which state-of-the-art machinery worth 2.3 million euros is being acquired.
