The Foundation of Electroalfa group of companies was awarded on April 5th, during the award ceremony dedicated exclusively to the appreciation for social responsibility projects of companies in Romania. The “Fabrica de Excelenta” project was awarded a Mention at the category Education, which had over 30 competing projects.

“Fabrica de Excelenta” is a program that identifies and supports valuable young people, offering them the opportunity to develop their performance. The fourth edition will be launched soon, the first three editions having over 35 beneficiaries. 

Social responsibility is part of Electroalfa’s philosophy, the activities performed having a profound impact on certain important fields: education, social, culture. Among the most important projects we would like to list: private scholarships for autistic children from Botosani county, participations to educational camps for children and teenagers, support for disfavored communities (construction of social houses, rehabilitation of houses for poor families), support for the neurosurgery department of “Mavromati” County Emergency Hospital from Botosani, support for cultural projects (FILIT Workshops at Ipotesti, participation to theatrical festival Trupa Drama, Poteca- film for promoting cyclists in Botosani, etc.)

The Romanian CSR Awards competition reunited over 150 representatives of companies that got involved in social responsibility actions, among which: CEZ Grup, E.on, Engie România, Mol Romania, Orange, Vodafone, Telekom, Carrefour, Lidl, Kaufland, Raiffesein Bank, ING Bank, Sieveco, Renault, etc.

According to the organizers, a number of record projects were registered this year – 124. The projects were evaluated by the 9 members of the Jury, who took into account the impact and relevance of the projects for the communities, the number of beneficiaries, employees and voluntaries involved in the project, but also the efficiency of the invested budget.
